Hi Marla,

Thanks for your comment. Many practices are aware there is software out there, including RealMed, that assists with the front-end collections. Many are focusing on EMR right now and are trying to get e-prescribing and PQRI implemented.

Best wishes,

Mary Pat

Greetings, I have some information regarding your topic "Patient Collection Question #1: How Do I know What to Collect at Check-Out?" Take a look at the revenue cycle management tool RealMed. The tool will no only give you that data at check out, it will start the process at check in and give you the transparency your expecting from eligibility through claims online interactive payor editing, status and electronic remits with auto claims matching down through statements all as an internet based tool on your desktop. I encourage you to take a look at RealMed.com and simplify the reply to `how do I know what to collect?`. Oh, FYI, set up recurring payments with a few keystrokes - ah, makes you smile.
